The food was good, and the companionship of 36 of our Lotus Corps friends was excellent as always.  I, was honored for the second time since 1990 as Member of the year, for which I humbly thank you all.  It is a great honor, but not nearly as much of an honor as being a member, and friend to all of you.  Sure am glad that I decided to own such a wacky, but enjoyable brand of automobile as well as having gone to LOG X in Akron, Ohio where I first met many of you.  (I'm not just saying this either)

Other Banquet experiences found Rocky Palella reaching into the hat to draw a door prize ticket, and actually picking his own ticket.  He chose one of the spiffy Lotus jackets donated to us by Lotus Cars USA.  Sue Bonk, and I also chose jackets when our numbers were called.  Sue Herzog reached into the hat, held by Bob Herzog, and pulled her own ticket to win the Grand Prize, a light-up Lotus wall clock.  Bob mentioned something about hanging it in their newly remodeled kitchen.

All in all, a nice way to spend an evening!
